This fall, Italian design will play a starring role in a groundbreaking exhibition at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Organized by the museum and the Citizens Housing & Planning Council, Making Room: Housing for a Changing America focuses on innovative solutions designed to meet the growing needs of America’s diverse households.

The 160-page publication entitled “Ceramics and design. The Italian ceramic industry architecture competition 2012-2016” presents the 33 winning projects chosen from more than 500 submissions by Italian architecture firms that used Italian ceramic tiles between 2012 and 2016.
