The dialogue between light, matter and a contemporary vision of luxury served as the common thread running through this interior design project by Projektni Biro Arhitekt for an elegant jewellery shop in Sarajevo. A new reference point for a high-end clientele in the Bosnian capital, the boutique adopts a palette of delicate cream and beige tones combined with the rich materiality of surfaces that replicate the visually appealing patterns of marble, creating surfaces with a classic and refined aesthetic.

The boutique is defined by a concept that harmoniously balances functionality and style, where every material and finish has been selected to complement the jewellery on display. The brilliance of the jewellery is reflected in the floors and walls, creating a captivating interplay of light and glossy surfaces.

A key contribution to this refined aesthetic is made by the Elements Lux marble-effect porcelain stoneware collection from Keope. The designers specifically chose the striking deep black of Port Laurent, paired with the luminous Breccia Tortona finish from the Interno4 collection from Keope, the latter featuring a warm ivory background with elegant gold veining.

Both collections possess a distinct and unmistakable identity. While Elements Lux is inspired by sumptuous classic marbles, faithfully replicating their elegant texture, the Interno4 collection from Keope draws on a modernist, noble architectural narrative to showcase four finishes inspired by Italian tradition.

By using custom-cut large slabs, Projektni Biro Arhitekt created sinuous forms and bespoke solutions, allowing the display counters to be clad with artisanal precision. The office desk, featuring a shaped Port Laurent slab, integrates seamlessly with the floor to create a cohesive and sophisticated design language.

A 120×278 cm format was used for both finishes throughout, a choice that effectively underscores the project’s unified architectural vision and creates a powerful visual impact. In this specific context, the use of porcelain stoneware provided both a striking aesthetic result and high technical performance in terms of durability, resistance and ease of maintenance.
