Emilgroup launches Project Awards 2023

Following the huge success of the first edition held in 2022 with the submission of more than 100 projects from all over the world, applications are now open for the second edition of the Emilgroup Project Awards, the competition launched by Emilgroup to recognise international projects that feature the use of Emilgroup products and stand out for their creativity, originality and design.

The award is aimed at architects and designers who choose the excellence of Emilgroup products and embrace the values of a solid group that combines tradition with a focus on the future and innovation and is renowned for its quality, creativity, attention to detail and the uniqueness of its work.

Since 1961 Emilgroup has been offering designers and architects the finest Italian-made porcelain stoneware. “We aim to offer a unique experience to users of contemporary spaces, without placing limitations on the creativity of designers,” explains Giancarlo Macchioni, R&D and Marketing Director at Emilgroup.

“Following the huge success of the first edition, we decided to repeat the Emilgroup Awards again this year,” said Giorgia Gallaro, Head of Communications at Emilgroup. “The response has been very encouraging with a number of Italian and international submissions arriving within days of the launch. This demonstrates that we are building up a solid community of architects, designers and construction professionals who appreciate our products. We are proud to see our products take pride of place in prestigious international projects.”

The projects can be submitted to four different categories (Inspiration, Creativity, Prestige and Evolution) via an online application system before the deadline of 31 August 2023.

The four winning projects, selected by a jury made up of creative directors, architects, designers and digital communication professionals with decades of experience in the industry, will be named the “Emilgroup Project Awards 2023 Winners” and officially announced on 25 September 2023 at the Emilgroup headquarters in Fiorano Modenese (MO). They will receive special mentions and visibility on all the company’s Italian and international media channels.
