This year’s ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in New York has been moved from its normal dates in May to late autumn, making it the ideal opportunity for the Italian ceramic tile industry to travel to America shortly after the lifting of the travel ban to the USA.

Following a Cersaie that exceeded all expectations, the Italian ceramic tile industry is now gearing up for the appointment in New York on 14 and 15 November.

After a year off, Ceramics of Italy will be participating for the 14th time in ICFF, the leading US exhibition dedicated to the contemporary habitat, with a joint display of Italian-made ceramics. This year’s show will be more important than ever due to its concurrent scheduling in the Javits Center with BDNY Boutique Design New York, the exhibition devoted to hospitality and contemporary design.

Ceramics of Italy at ICFF 2021In the institutional area, Confindustria Ceramica and the Italian Trade Agency ITA have organised company corners and an information point for visitors interested in finding out more about the Italian ceramic industry (stand #3145, level 3). A total of 10 Italian ceramic companies will be taking part in the country pavilion: Altaeco, Ceramiche Refin, Ceramiche Settecento, Decoratori Bassanesi, Emilceramica, Gigacer, Marca Corona, Mirage Granito Ceramico, Simas and Tagina.

Visitors to the company corners will be able to get a first-hand look at the latest Italian ceramic tiles based on the trends launched at the recent Cersaie in Bologna.

With its return to ICFF, the Italian ceramic industry intends to fully participate once again in the leading US event for the world of furniture, accessories and bathroom furnishings. The last edition held in 2019 saw the participation of more than 900 exhibitors from 60 countries and 38,000 visitors from the decoration and design sectors.

This year’s exhibition is also expected to see a boost in attendance due to visitors who have come for the concurrent BDNY show, which aims to expand its visitor base from interior to contract design and to forge new contacts with the local A&D community and the design and lifestyle press.
