(June 2025)Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings scheduled to take place from 22 to 26 September 2025 in the Bologna Exhibition Centre, will reaffirm its status as a global reference point for industry professionals with a new layout and spatial organisation. Driven by an ongoing commitment to quality, beauty and innovation, Cersaie 2025 will transform the visitor experience starting from the Costituzione entrance. A covered walkway leading from the turnstiles will guide visitors towards The Square, a central meeting place located in the distinctive “quadriportico” area dedicated to networking and interaction. This route, designed by architect Dario Curatolo, will feature a series of large-format photographic installations with a twofold purpose. The first is to structure and organise the space visually, the second to tell the story of ceramics as a material – its forms, finishes and colours, its technological evolution and multifunctionality, the beauty of the exhibited products and their continuous interactions with other materials.

This visually compelling gallery will guide visitors through a fair firmly focused on the future, where every detail is designed to highlight excellence and foster meaningful connections.

Now in its 42nd edition, Cersaie 2025 will occupy a total exhibition space of 155,000 square metres (10,000 sqm more than in 2024) and will have a redesigned layout. Halls 31-32 will be dedicated to non-ceramic floor and wall coverings, interior finishes (particularly doors) and the bathroom furnishings/wellness sector, complementing the space already present in the dedicated Halls 21/22. This new layout addresses the growing demand from visitors for a broader product offering, catering not only to trade professionals but also to designers, architects, contractors, investors, and the broader design community, thus providing a comprehensive overview of solutions available for interiors and exteriors. Exhibitors will also benefit from the greater visibility provided by the strategic location of the halls near the Costituzione entrance, encouraging greater integration between different product sectors and facilitating interaction between ceramic manufacturers and producers of complementary materials.

As part of a broader redevelopment project aimed at making the show increasingly modern, functional and globally appealing, Hall 19 will also reopen this year, expanding the installation area by 1,000 square metres (+35%). This new space will bring together Italian and international companies involved in the “Installation Equipment and Materials” sector. It will also host Tiling Town, which will offer ample space for workshops and installation showcases, along with a refreshment area and a rest zone equipped with multimedia information points about the show.

With three months still to go until Cersaie opens its doors, the entire exhibition space is already sold out and organisational efforts are in full swing. As always, the 42nd edition will feature a packed programme of cultural and educational events designed to promote networking among international professionals and highlight cutting-edge solutions that enhance quality, innovation and functionality.
