An invisible thread connects Emilia-Romagna’s culture of materials with the architecture of the New World. In 2026, Caesar Ceramics USA celebrates a major milestone in its history: ten years of Made in USA products, a pivotal chapter in an American journey that began back in 1988.

An evolution that has been both strategic and cultural. Since the first shipments set sail for the Californian coast in 1988, the relationship between Ceramiche Caesar and the US market has grown steadily stronger, developing into a well-established and extensive presence. In 1997, the official establishment of Caesar USA Inc. and the creation of a logistics centre in New Jersey marked the company’s first major foothold on the East Coast. This outstanding infrastructure was further strengthened in 2011 with the opening of a strategic hub in Santa Fe Springs, California, reflecting a vision capable of reaching across the entire continent.

The decisive turning point came in 2016: with the launch of local production in Tennessee, the Made in USA offering officially made its debut. Far more than simply relocating production, this represented a seamless synergy between the design expertise of Made in Italy and the specific needs of the North American market. Ceramiche Caesar’s technological excellence and know-how were thus combined with the advantages of local manufacturing, ensuring responsiveness, a thorough understanding of local market dynamics and an ongoing dialogue with the architectural and design community.

This close relationship took on a physical dimension in 2018 with the opening of the showroom and sales offices in Brentwood. Conceived not merely as an exhibition space, but as a vibrant meeting place for collaboration and joint design development, the Brentwood hub enables architects, designers and business partners to experience the collections first-hand, explore their potential applications and shape the future of surfaces alongside the Caesar Ceramics USA team.

Ten years after embarking on this manufacturing venture, Caesar renews and reinforces its commitment: to continue investing, innovating and strengthening its roots in the United States, translating its passion for ceramics into dedicated collections and an increasingly responsive service capable of meeting the major challenges of contemporary architecture.
