The projects to be carried out in the city of Bologna as part of the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) will be discussed at a conference to be held on Wednesday 27 September at 11:00 am in the Palazzo dei Congressi. The conference will be attended by the Mayor of Bologna Matteo Lepore and the Vice Chairman of Confindustria Ceramica Emilio Mussini and will be moderated by Sebastiano Barisoni from Radio 24.

The main focus of all these projects is carbon neutrality and the redevelopment of urban spaces without land consumption. The projects include the new Children’s Museum, Democratic Memory Centre and Maternal Aid Building as well as urban regeneration of the Bolognina neighbourhood, the Dopo Lavoro Ferroviario (railway workers’ social club) and the Ravoni – Prati infrastructure hub.

The works cover a total area of more than 250,000 square metres in various parts of the city. They will receive €118.4 million of public funding and are expected to attract total investment of more than €1 billion. All the works are scheduled for completion in 2026.
