Florim Group renews its B Corp Certification
A certified B Corp since 2020, Florim Group’s recertification reaffirms its long-standing commitment to integrating environmental and social responsibility, alongside sound governance, into its business strategy.
Florim SpA SB has successfully renewed its B Corp certification under the new standards introduced by B Lab, together with its US subsidiary, Florim USA. The revised certification framework moves beyond an overall scoring system, requiring companies to demonstrate tangible results and continuous improvement across key impact areas.
B Corp certification recognizes companies that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Companies are required to take action across seven key impact topics: Climate Action; Purpose and Stakeholder Governance; Environmental Stewardship and Circularity; Human Rights; Fair Work; Government Affairs and Collective Action; and Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
Since 2008, Florim has published its Sustainability Statement, transparently reporting on its initiatives and achievements. Over the years, this commitment has translated into ongoing investments in energy efficiency, the modernization of production facilities, and a strong focus on people and local communities. These efforts reflect a practical, long-term approach to sustainability that goes hand in hand with Florim’s industrial development.

The recertification also strengthens Florim’s ties with the wider B Corp community. The company is a member of B Local Modena, a local network that brings together certified B Corps in the area, fostering collaboration, the exchange of best practices and joint initiatives that benefit the local community.
Today, the B Corp movement continues to grow rapidly, with more than 11,000 companies worldwide operating across a wide range of industries and collectively representing over one million jobs. In Italy alone, more than 390 companies are B Corp certified.
