Bellosta Rubinetterie supports its employees
The Lake Orta-based company responds to rising fuel costs with tangible support at a time when prices at the pump are putting increasing pressure on its employees’ household budgets.
Bellosta Rubinetterie, the long-established family-run company based in Briga Novarese that has been producing Made in Italy designer taps and fittings since 1961, has decided to mark the start of the summer holidays by giving each employee a €100 fuel voucher, helping to support families’ purchasing power at a time when the cost of filling up is once again weighing on household budgets.
The measure comes at a particularly challenging time for Italian motorists. On Saturday 4 July, the 5-cent-per-litre reduction on petrol and diesel introduced by the Italian Government in response to international tensions in the Strait of Hormuz came to an end, with fuel prices at the pump expected to rise.
Bellosta Rubinetterie has chosen to respond with direct and immediate support, without waiting for further external measures.
“The Bellosta family has decided to support our extended company family with a tangible gesture, as a way of expressing our sincere thanks to all the men and women who work within our company every day of the year,” says CEO Maurizio Bellosta. “At the same time, as we look to the future with renewed determination, we are implementing an important green transition process, including the preparation of our sustainability report. This will highlight everything we have been doing for the environment for many years, alongside new initiatives, as we embark on an economic and strategic transformation designed to generate tangible benefits over the medium and long term. Bellosta Rubinetterie is a dynamic company, a community of people working towards the same goals while upholding the values established by our founders, Carlo and Carla Bellosta.”
The voucher, which can be used at major fuel retailers, will be provided to all company employees, regardless of their role or position.
The initiative forms part of Bellosta Rubinetterie’s broader and long-standing corporate welfare programme and reflects the values of a family business now in its second generation under the leadership of Maurizio and Gabriele Bellosta. The company has always regarded its people as an integral part of its heritage, alongside the craftsmanship and quality that have distinguished its products for more than sixty years.
