The Emilgroup Project Awards are back

Following the enormous success of the first four editions, with hundreds of projects competing from all over the world, applications are now open to take part in the fifth edition of the Emilgroup Project Awards (EPA), the high-profile international award launched by Emilgroup that rewards projects created with Emilgroup ceramic collections which have stood out for their creativity, originality and design.

An award – devised in collaboration with BTREES, the digital agency of Ebano S.p.A. which manages the Group’s communications – for professionals (architects and designers) who choose Emilgroup products and embody their values.

With its strong international presence, history and commitment to innovation, Emilgroup has encapsulated the excellent of Italian porcelain stoneware and represented one of the most outstanding examples of Made in Italy since 1961. Emilgroup is recognised for being a solid group that is strongly oriented towards the future and innovation, its inventive, unique and durable designer products emphasising its unyielding commitment to quality, creativity, attention to detail and originality. Emilgroup is synonymous with attention to detail, aesthetics, functionality and research into fine, unique materials suitable for all types of spaces and personalities. It is no coincidence that the company’s beating heart is its internal Research and Development department, a creative workshop and a place for experimentation and the sharing of experiences and ideas.

The collections of its brands – Emilceramica, Ergon, Provenza, Viva and Level – are used in commercial and residential architectural projects created by designers all over the world. Thanks to the Emilgroup Project Awards, over the years the company has formed a strong bond with industry professionals, mainly due to the central role they play in project processes.

The Emilgroup Project Awards have thus become an international point of reference for architects and designers thanks to the significant visibility that the company is able to guarantee participants: a showcase for displaying their work and becoming part of a top quality network which has strong Italian roots but an international outlook, prioritising the new challenges of today so our spaces are increasingly green, smart and comfortable.

Today the EPA are more than just awards: they are part of an ecosystem dedicated to Emilgroup’s design DNA. An ambitious project that communicates ideas and visions, increasingly broadening the dialogue between architects and designers to the point where it has become an established initiative in the sector. In a nutshell, they are Emilgroup’s way of celebrating the people who make change happen: architects and designers that transform visions into reality, giving form to spaces that inspire.
Their success confirms the soundness of our corporate vision, based on constant dialogue with the international creative community. Giancarlo Macchioni, R&D and Marketing Director Emilgroup, commented with great satisfaction on the achievements so far:

”These awards are one of the points where our ground-breaking materials and the vision of architects and designers meet. The selected projects demonstrate the active role of Emilgroup surfaces in strong, distinctive architectural design.”
