Designed by architect Samanta Michalewicz of ARTchitektura, this elegant private residence in the lively university city of Zielona Góra combines high-end materials with contemporary flair. Its aesthetic identity is centred on a dominant white palette, punctuated creatively by black and gold accents that break up the monochrome uniformity.

The View House skilfully balances diverse elements, from textural and chromatic accents to a layout organised around its primary space: an expansive living room with an open mezzanine which serves as the focal point and organising principle of the home. Here, black-and-white upholstered furniture and chairs set the tone for the interiors, contrasting with entirely bespoke furnishings. Adjacent to the living room, the dining area is connected via a corridor to a modern kitchen echoing the same colour contrasts and stylistic interplay.

A sculptural white staircase leads to the upper floor, which houses the three children’s bedrooms – each with its own distinct character and specific colour and furnishing choices – as well as the master bedroom dominated by a large, custom-designed bed. The master bedroom features decorative stucco work that creates a sense of harmonious elegance, while the colour palette embraces light tones interspersed with delicate earthy shades and black accents for added contrast and depth. The en-suite bathroom echoes these aesthetic choices to create a cohesive whole.

Surface finishes are central to the home’s visual identity, particularly the Supreme Evo porcelain tile collection from Flaviker (Invisible Select version) used for the floors. Supreme Evo represents a sophisticated exploration of marble, offering a selection of luxury finishes ranging from the timeless Statuario Superior to the versatile, informal appeal of Grey Amani. The timeless elegance of Black is present in the choice of Classic Marquinia and Noir Laurent, alongside contemporary whites such as Invisible Select and Antique White. Classic Calacatta Extra and Pure Statuario complete a range suitable for multiple applications, from floors and bathrooms to coordinated furniture and kitchen worktops.

In total, approximately 200 square metres of 120×120 cm slabs in a Lux finish were specified for the project. The Supreme Evo marble-effect porcelain stoneware highlights the home’s key zones, including the large ground-floor entrance, the double-height living room and mezzanine, and the first-floor children’s bathroom.
