porcelain stoneware
Compatta is a collection of large porcelain stoneware slabs, unique in its kind, that proposes a dialogue between what is “deeply archaic” and what is “ultra contemporary.” The project, designed by Federico Peri, combines a passion for earth as a natural material and an interest in “pisé,” an ancient construction technique. The primary inspiration comes from observing the multiple layers of the soil and the mixtures of elemental particles that compose it.
