(April 2024) | The 2024 edition of the Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition, the international architecture award organised by the Italian ceramic industry and Cersaie to recognise the best architectural works carried out using Italian ceramic surfaces, is now underway. The competition was created through the merger of two existing Italian ceramic tile competitions, the Design Competition for the North American market, which has existed for over thirty years, and La Ceramica e il Progetto (Ceramics and Design), the architecture competition held in Italy for the past eleven years. The new competition will honour projects carried out in Europe and North America in alternate years, starting with Europe in 2024 and North America in 2025.
This year’s competition is open to all design professionals who have carried out projects in Europe using Italian ceramic surfaces produced by companies licensed to use the Ceramics of Italy trademark and completed between 1 January 2020 and 29 February 2024.
Participating in the competition is easy and free of charge. Design professionals wishing to take part should register online by 31 May 2024.
