Design and Architecture Take Centre Stage at the 2026 Press Cafés | by Sara Seghedoni

(June 2026) – This year’s Press Cafés at Cersaie will feature a series of informal conversations tackling the most topical issues across the worlds of design and architecture. Each of the five days of this eleventh edition of the programme will be devoted to a specific theme: “places of design” as an expression of functionality and aesthetics on Monday; “leisure spaces” on Tuesday; the “evolving concept of home living” on Wednesday; “hospitality architecture” on Thursday and “urban design and public spaces” on Friday.

These 14 Press Cafés, to be held in Mall 29/30 from 21 to 25 September, are organised in collaboration with leading Italian publishing houses and will explore the most topical issues in the worlds of ceramic tiles, bathroom furnishings, design, architecture and urban planning.

The magazines taking part in this eleventh edition are: AD, CasaFacile, CIL – Costruire in Laterizio, Chiesa Oggi, DDN, Domus, Elle Decor Italia, Il Bagno Oggi e Domani, IoArch, Marie Claire Maison, Matrix4Design, Suite, Top Yacht Design and Wellness Design.

The meetings will take place daily at 10.30 am, 12.00 pm and 3.00 pm in the dedicated conference arena in the Media Village located close to the Bologna Exhibition Centre’s North Entrance. The events will also be livestreamed on the Cersaie website and on the digital channels of the participating publishers.
