(September 2025) | The 2025 edition of Cersaie will host 620 companies from 29 countries, an impressive international line-up presenting major new products and solutions to visitors from all over the world. But Cersaie is more than just a trade fair: it is a global event where the Italian ceramic industry takes centre stage, inviting attendees on a journey into the quality of Italian living and well-being.

For exhibitors, Cersaie has always been an eagerly awaited occasion to unveil the results of their hard work and investments in new products. Each new surface is the outcome of continuous research and design, ready to debut in Bologna before going on to set international trends. Seeing these innovations on display in the booths is the first stage of this immersive journey through Italian ceramics, offering visitors tangible solutions for design and construction.

The wealth of cultural content – from the “building, dwelling, thinking” conferences to the live demonstrations in Tiling Town and the design and architecture conversations at the Press Cafés – reinforces Cersaie’s role as a cultural, informative and educational platform for market players worldwide. Here, experts and industry professionals have a chance to share their views on ceramics, bathroom furnishings, interior design, architecture and urban planning, marking the second stage of the journey: reflection and dialogue about the future of living.

The breaks between business meetings and cultural sessions are also part of the Cersaie experience. The exhibition centre offers 33 food outlets, including five full-service restaurants, some run by Michelin-starred chefs and leading representatives of Emilian cuisine. This isn’t simply a tribute to the culinary tradition of Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna region, but the third step in Cersaie’s immersive journey: food as an expression of quality of life. Italian cuisine, admired worldwide, is inseparable from the spaces where it is served – spaces where Italian ceramics, from floors and wall tiles to countertops, backsplashes, cabinet doors and tables, play an essential role in bringing everyday beauty to life all year round.
