A process of crushing and transformation yields Pietra Essenza, the new Emilceramica collection: fragments of natural stone are milled and compacted into a new ceramic material. The visually neutral yet deeply rich surface is dotted with micro-inclusions that give insight into the variety of the original stones. The texture, with its carefully judged heterogeneity, provides visual balance and minimalist elegance, while the slightly three-dimensional tactile structure precisely evokes the natural stone.
