Marcel from Ceramica Cielo offers a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.
Inspired by the sinuous and rational forms of Bauhaus and the elegance of the curved wood and Vienna straw furniture for which the Thonet family is renowned, it is reinterpreted in a modern vein by designers Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano. The central theme of Marcel is craftsmanship. The masterful modelling of ceramic is combined with the cabinetmaker’s skill of bending ash wood and weaving Vienna straw to create a distinctive product that shows off the company’s Italian expertise.
