LYTHOS is inspired by a Brazilian quartzite distinguished by its fascinating layered colours, pebble-like inclusions and subtle colour variations that enhance its visual depth. The name Lythos – meaning “stone” – evokes strength, durability and the great tradition of classical architecture. In Coem porcelain stoneware, this material is reinterpreted through innovative technologies that faithfully reproduce the rich, variegated appearance of natural quartzite with the practicality of a contemporary ceramic surface.
