“Listening to “Águas de Março”, a song by Elis Regina and Tom Jobim that speaks of autumn rains, I thought about the way the surfaces of materials change in the rain. The ground is deformed by the lashing water droplets and takes on a new texture; the previously dull earth gradually becomes shiny and reflective. I wanted to recount all of this in a collection that combines a three-dimensional, matt surface texture with a pattern of shiny, sparkling drops of water.” Designed by Diego Vencato.
