CERDOMUS PRESENTS ITS 2025 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

Innovation, responsibility, and industrial culture at the heart of the company’s vision for the future

Cerdomus presents its 2025 Sustainability Report, a document that details the company’s evolution toward an increasingly integrated, responsible, and future-oriented industrial model.
ESG issues are fully integrated into the company’s strategies, decision-making processes, and
governance, reaffirming the commitment to combining aesthetics, research, and responsibility, and deciding to invest in advanced production processes, low-impact technologies, and organizational models capable of generating long-term value.

Among the most significant results is the strong commitment to energy efficiency: 78% of the electricity used is now produced through energy recovery from the cogenerator, confirming a strategy focused on efficiency and reducing environmental impact. At the same time, the company continues to invest in systems for monitoring, optimizing, and continuously improving energy consumption.

Significant attention is also devoted to responsibility throughout the entire production chain. In its new ESG plan, Cerdomus introduces specific objectives related to sharing its Code of Ethics with suppliers, developing ESG criteria for their qualification, and launching dedicated audits, with the aim of building a production system that is increasingly transparent, reliable, and consistent with the company’s values.

The Report also highlights an increasingly central theme in the company’s vision: valuing people. Employee benefits, training, organizational well-being, and work-life balance have become an integral part of the company’s growth. Among the initiatives introduced are new corporate welfare measures, the extension of paternity leave, dedicated training programs, and tools to support employee well-being.

Another distinctive element of the 2025 roadmap concerns governance and the integration of ESG principles into corporate decision-making processes. Cerdomus has strengthened its structured approach to sustainability through dedicated KPIs, medium- to long-term objectives, and new monitoring activities involving management, stakeholders, and the supply chain.

The company also views sustainability as a driver of competitiveness and resilience, addressing key issues such as cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, supply chain responsibility, and ESG ratings of suppliers.
This approach interprets sustainability not merely as compliance, but as a strategic element for addressing the future challenges of the manufacturing sector.
“For Cerdomus, the Sustainability Report is not a destination but a milestone on a path of continuous evolution,” the company states. “A commitment that encompasses the environment, people, the local community, and industrial culture, with the goal of building lasting value through innovation, responsibility, and quality.”
With the 2025 Sustainability Report, Cerdomus thus consolidates a contemporary vision of the Made in Italy ceramic industry capable of combining technology, design, ethics, and a concrete focus on the future.
