Natural, contemporary elegance in Montpellier

A private residence in Montpellier has undergone an interior renovation designed to bring a sober, contemporary touch to its spaces. The aim was to create welcoming, harmonious rooms that convey a sense of warmth while retaining clean lines and high-quality materials. The 160 square metres of flooring played a decisive role. Running seamlessly through the living area, kitchen and upper floor, it reinforces visual continuity and gives the home a sense of fluidity. The wood look, echoed in other architectural details, further contributes to the overall stylistic identity, striking a balance between natural appeal and formal precision.

The ceramic tiles were carefully selected by showroom consultant Mélanie Campagnol and the homeowner, who wanted a solution that would combine natural aesthetics with strong technical performance. Together they chose the SoloRovere collection from Ceramiche Piemme in the Flamed variant and Chevron format, which they considered the most effective solution to the design and environmental requirements of the home. The Flamed finish, with its concentric mottling and knot-free surface, offers a refined, contemporary interpretation of oak with a warm, uniform and texturally rich effect.

The Montpellier project highlights how the SoloRovere collection is able to capture the spirit of oak in a contemporary vein, delivering both elegance and performance. It is a perfect example of how Italian ceramic design can meet the needs of modern living with personality, advanced technology and environmental awareness.
