Camping Village Mediterraneo, a popular holiday resort in Cavallino Treporti just a few kilometres from Jesolo in the metropolitan city of Venice, boasts a peaceful, natural setting close to a lush pine forest and a Blue Flag beach and is within easy reach of the many leisure and entertainment facilities the area has to offer.
Renowned for its modern design and high-level amenities, the campsite recently refreshed its image and expanded its range of offerings with the addition of a new water park, while also gaining the coveted five-star status.
Along with its large camping pitches, cosy mobile homes, glamping lodge tents and exclusive glamping homes, the real highlight of the resort is a new area called the Terrazze del Mediterraneo. This completely new area set in the middle of a pine forest boasts a seafront water park with seven pools, four of which are specially designed for children, and a large wellness centre, spa and swimming pool with solarium.
But along with its new entertainment facilities and wide range of culinary offerings, Camping Village Mediterraneo has also been given a fresh and modern architectural makeover. Porcelain floor and wall tiles from Ceramiche Caesar played an important part in the project, serving as authentic furnishing elements in perfect harmony with their surroundings.
A number of different types of tiles were chosen for their unique blend of nature, design and contemporary style. The Candle Soft surface from the Join collection was chosen for the mosaics in one of the outdoor swimming pools, where it conjures up Caribbean landscapes and enhances the shimmering look of the water. The Alchemy collection was used for the internal paving of some of the swimming pools in both the water park and the spa, its oxidised metallic-effect ceramic surface and irregular colours creating an alluring seabed sensation. Arthis wood-look ceramic tiles take centre stage in the restaurant areas. The Wide concrete-effect series is used in the communal areas, while the Portraits collection was chosen for the wellness centre, its natural stone look helping to create a relaxing, intimate ambience.
The sheer variety of these modern, on-trend surfaces testifies to the enormous versatility of ceramic tile.
