The Circular Economy (CE) is an approach that can be applied to any production system with the aim of minimising the need for and consumption of raw materials and the quantity of waste produced in production processes. The Italian ceramic industry has adopted this approach involving a lower environmental impact and greater reuse of production waste.
As a unique homage to Sassuolo and its citizens, the splendid creations of the internationally-renowned artists Giampaolo Bertozzi and Stefano Dal Monte Casoni are displayed in the city’s first permanent exhibition of contemporary ceramic art, the Bertozzi & Casoni Museum.
